About Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa flow sits under the umbrella of hatha yoga. The style concentrates on breath synchronized movement, so the theory of one movement one breath creating a union between the two sides, the sun and the moon, or the more energetic and the restful to create a beautiful balance, leaving you feeling invigorated yet with a deep residing peace.

My classes aim to take you deep within, listening to the inner vibrations as a foundation for your practice, leading you into a dance with your breath, body and mind.

In this style of yoga expect to work hard and get hot as we stoke the inner fires and send energy pulsating through the body.

About Ashtanga Yoga: Ashtanga yoga is a subtle yet powerful yoga, taught in a set sequence. Each student is taught as an individual and the sequence is given bit by bit as the student becomes ready. Ashtanga works with breath and movement synchronisty to build a deep powerful heat from within, this works to increase the bodies strength and flexibility which also strengthens the mind and helps students reach their fullest potential on and off the mat. I pass on knowledge and teaching of this system through the John Scott lineage which is Direct from Guruji Sri K Pattabhi Jois.
