The first time I stepped on my mat I knew that I had come home, that this is the place for me.
The swirling beauty and the disciplined grace of yoga I fall in love with time and time again.
For me yoga is so much more than a few pretzel like poses pulled on a rubber mat. It’s teachings have gradually unfurled into my life almost like a butterfly unfolding it’s wings. I am always amazed at the immensity to yoga and can’t help but feel humbled by the vast knowledge yet to be unsurfaced.
My practice started at home, and from the beginning it has been a daily practice. I experimented with different styles, iyengar, integral, ashtanga, power.. but always my heart has been in vinyasa flow. Eventually my studies led me to find my teacher, Claire Missingham whom I currently study under in London. She is an inspiration to all and I am honoured to be able to call her my teacher. Through Claire I have under gone a very intense and detailed 200 hr yoga alliance certified teacher training programme.
